Condition Description & Other Information --- ALMOST CERTAINLY THE BEST BOXSET AVAILABLE FOR THIS CHICAGO IV ANYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA!! --- ## Includes two posters and 20-page box set sized booklet of photographs, with tour dates – 1967 - 1971 – on back cover. ##   ------- Background ------  --- While touring in support of Chicago III, Chicago played Carnegie Hall for a week in April 1971 and recorded all of their shows. A four-LP box set for release as Chicago's fourth album (that distinction being responsible for the album's nickname of Chicago IV) was the result. Walter Parazaider told writer William James Ruhlmann that "The reason behind the live record for Carnegie Hall is, we were the first rock 'n' roll group to sell out a week at Carnegie Hall, and that was worth rolling up the trucks for, putting the mikes up there, and really chronicling what happened in 1971." ---
Condition Report All 4 x Vinyl's described as Mint unplayed. All 4 x Inner Sleeve's described as Near Mint. 2 x Posters Described as Near Mint. 20 x Page Large Photo Booklet described as Near Mint. Outer Box described as Excellent. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some colour as well as paper losses to edges & spine. There are some very minor areas of foxing to front & verso. No seam splits. Couple of minor stains here & there. Please see attached photos...
