From my PERSONAL Collection - bought used and just played on my new Denon turntable - to determine if I needed to clean any specific areas.
Yeah - I was big into Quad in the day - had the top of the line JVC receiver, four Advents and two turntables - one just for quad - and a quad reel-to-reel deck...
I rate/price these LPs on sound mostly - then cover, inserts, LP sleeves, etc. I care about the sound the most.
I've cleaned these LPs with my discwasher and Zerostat - if you need more than that, you have some dirty LPs!
I'll be listing my entire Quad Collection (about 100), as I record them - some fairly rare ones in the mix...  Look out occasionally for new listings.
Some very rare ones indeed!

Original 1974 US LPs on COLUMBIA RECORDS GQ 33258/259 CHICAGO  "CHICAGO II"
This is a QUADRAPHONIC pressing  SQ 2LPs
VG+, both discs/all sides. Jacket in good condition - see photos. Original LP sleeves - slight split in both and a bit brown. Discs have light marks and I will note where they affect sound below:
Side #1: Visually looks great. Very quiet from the beginning - very listenable. No major pops or clicks. Side #2: Looks as good as side #1. Very quiet from the beginning - very listenable as well.  Very few light surface noise on track #3. The only time I could tell I was listening to an LP on this entire side! No major pops or clicks. Side #3: Looks good as well, maybe a few swirls, but nothing major. A few noticeable pops during (after 25or6to4), then it calms down. A click and pop or two during "Memories of Love". Side #4: Looks good as well. Surface noise right at the beginning and during the entire - does not sound great, maybe some additional cleaning? IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS LP FOR THIS SIDE - LOOK FOR ANOTHER COPY.
Still sounds GREAT for a very old LP... Does not sound as good as the other three sides for sure.
The cover may not look great, but the LPs sound close to new......NO SKIPS!
Records have been cleaned, sleeved, play tested and protected in an outer sleeve. I pack carefully and ship in a new or used, but in good shape, LP mailer with the LP outside the sleeve. 

These results are on my equipment. You may or may not hear the same.
