Chicago Transit Authority's debut album, self-titled "Chicago Transit Authority," is a classic double LP released in Australia in 1969. This first edition vinyl is graded near mint, with full-range fidelity and 33 RPM speed. The record showcases the band's unique blend of jazz and rock, featuring acoustic guitar, piano, keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar, voice, drums, and organ. The album comes with its original inner sleeve and cover, both in very good plus condition. One of the best debuts in music. Unfortunately it was (arguably) all downhill from here. They became HUGE, but for me, this was new at the time. We (in Australia) weren't used to such a big sound from rock music-horn sections became de rigueur soon after this-great stuff.
