Description
Hi there, presented here is a nice issue of the Chicken Shack classic "Ok Ken?". UK issue, released on Blue Horizon in 1968. Mono pressing, very first issue with A1/B1 matrixes. Catalogue no. 7-63209. Featuring the amazing Stan Webb and Christine McVie. So, here's the condition:-
The LP itself:- VG++, nice sheen still. It has got several light marks, some the type cause by the old style rubber turntable matts. These do not affect play on my turntable, though we know this can vary from player to player. A fair description would be that this has low to moderate surface noise. Far better than 90% of others from this period!
The Sleeve:- VG++, gatefold laminated with no real laminate lift to speak of. Near to the opening edges there are some creases and thumb indentation, though not particularly noticeable. Low edge wear, and low feathering to opening edge. All corners are proud, including the title spine. This has the usual tram line. Fully readable. Inner gatefold, unlaminated in near mint condition. No writing or tears on the sleeve!
The Labels:- VG++, very clear print with no writing! There is moderate spindle wear, partly only visible when tilted. Print variation towards centre hole on one side (as seen - above photo)
Inner sleeve:- Original inner, plain with label area cut-out. Made in England in small text. This is in good to very good condition, little oxidisation, plenty of edge creases as to be expected.
This is a really nice example of a very rare LP.
