Description
This is Impulse Records A-29, The New Amazing Chico Hamilton Quintet Passin' Thru, a black and orange, ABC-Paramount label 2nd mono issue of this wonderful record with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. The record is in strong VG+ condition showing some light marks on both sides but playing quietly throughout (hence the extra (+). This is an excellent listening experience. The laminated gate-fold cover a small hole punch and some loss on the bottom seam but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. This is still an excellent collector's grade copy of this rare recording.
