Description
Here's a very nice and hard to find record by Chico O'Farrill's band. O'Farrill is perhaps best known for his latin jazz arrangements for Charlie Parker, Dizzy GIllespie and others in the Clef/Norgran/Verve fold.
Here he is leading his own group in pieces which lean more to the latin and less to the jazz side of things.
Cover is VG++ and features a David Stone Martin illustration. Extremely light rub wear and no splits. A few very small areas on spines wear paper has pulled away from cardboard. Record is VG-/VG- and has a lot of light scratches on both sides. Plays through with no sticks, pops or clicks. There is a steady crackle, but given the nature of the music (lots of percussion and brass) it shouldn't interfere with the enjoyment of the music. However, if you're the type to focus in on crackle it will drive you nuts, so best look elsewhere.
