Child’s Play Rat Race UK PRESS *RARE US PROMO/PRESS KIT?* CHR-1758 HEAVY METAL

This is possibly a very rare press kit that was imported to the US for select radio stations. Included is a letter from the NY-based US leg of the Chrysalis label describing the band's quick rise to fame. There is also a press kit photo that was featured as the cover art for the Day After Night single. I cannot find an archived listing showing any description matching what is included here. One previous sale mentioned a "release sheet", but no photo.
Cover is VG+ with general wear to all edges. No splits. Bottom left corner suffered a little more wear than the rest of the corners. Spine is still clearly legible, but please look over the pictures.
Disc is NM- with only a few very, very minor paper scuffs under intense light. Barely worth mentioning. I would easily grade NM, but want to be a little conservative on something this rare.
