1972/USA/Crested Butte CB 701 598,.. super clean in the shrink original STOCK copy of this psychedelic gem, you always see promo copies offered but seldom a stock copy,.......Previously known as Sassafrass, this progressive rock outfit came from Westchester County, NY, although they also spent some time recording in New England. There's a lot of fuzz and vibes on their fine album, which Barry Tashian of The Remains helped the band record. Every track's a winner in what is for the most part a stunning blend of guitar and keyboards. The finest moment is probably the final track Child of Peace and there's also a cover of Barry Tashian's Mister Sunshine. The album was originally issued on a local Colorado label, although the band were apparently never based there - a very curious marketing strategy! re: fuzz, acid and flowers, the cover and vinyl are both in near Mint condition, the cover is in the shrink and just has a bit of corner wear through the shrink, no delete, splits or other defects, there are a couple of old store stickers on the shrink, the vinyl is shiny and clean, probably played no more than a couple of times, this copy also includes the custom inner sleeve and insert, a great copy!
