Description
Chris Clark Love's gone bad/Put yorself in my place. Tamla Motown TMG 591 from 1966. This record is a bit of history. Chris Clark was the first white woman to record for Motown, I believe she was Berry Gordy's date at the time! She was no Diana Ross but she had a good voice and released several singles and at least one album. This was her first UK release featuring two classic Holland-Dozier-Holland songs. The sleeve is original, has one edge tear and slight corner rumpling, the record unfortunately has a very slight 'dint' near the edge, visible from both sides and this causes slight but background noise for the first second or so of each side but does not affect tracking (here anyway). The rest of the songs play just fine and sound excellent. Bit of a rare one this.
