CHRIS McGREGOR'S BROTHERHOOD OF BREATH - 'BROTHERHOOD'
The Brotherhood of Breath was an exuberant big-band created by exiled South African born pianist/composer Chris McGregor.
This rare album features a mixture of the hard-driving blues of Charles Mingus and the wild experimentalism of Sun Ra, but retains a unique feel due to the South African influences and the intelligent arrangements.
This 1972 UK 1st pressing on RCA (SF 8260) is SIGNED inside the gatefold by the composer and NINE of this group's highly talented musicians:
