DETAILS:
1973 release on the fabled Village Thing label which folded in 1973. This has been described as one of the best acid folk albums of the 1970s. Recorded in numerous locations by itinerant New Zealand guitar wizard Thompson (who travelled to the UK as part of Julie Felix’s band), it features guest appearances from Clem Alford and Keshav Sathe (of Magic Carpet renown).
GRADING:
Cover - Very Good
Fully laminated sleeve.
The laminated has bubbled/lifted on the front cover along the edge of the spine.
There is a small 1" top seam split.
The rear of the sleeve is very clean and tidy.
Plain white die cut inner has a small tear in the centre.
Record - Very Good
Labels are clean and free from writing etc.
Matrix numbers are VTS 21-A-2A and VTS 21-B-2A .
There is a mark on the last track of side 1 The River Song which causes some light clicking, noticeable but not overwhelming.
Otherwise a few light hairlines on close inspection and a little occasional background noise.
Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Record will be sent in a cardboard cruciform record mailer with additional cardboard stiffeners for extra protection. The record is also placed in a protective polythene sleeve. The record/inner will be removed from the main sleeve to guard against any seam/spine damage during postage.
