Extremely rare • Extremely out of print • Factory sealed • An album of near-mythical rarity

On offer: one brand new factory sealed Classic Records, RTH-1010-45 Chris Whitley Dirt Floor 180 Gram LP. I bought two copies of this in 1998, playing one and holding one in my archives. The sonics are astonishing. It's one of my go-two late night blues records — Whitley, who died young of lung cancer, is summoned by my transducers, sounding as if he's suspended right in front of the listening chair. Downright eerie. Analog simply does not get better. 

  • Remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original master tapes 
  • Long out-of-print, highly desirable album is 
  • No cutout marks, seam splits, or dented corners on the album
  • The outer plastic sleeve is in very good condition — see photos, it's a little frayed in the upper right corner
  • Critically: Perforation is completely intact.
