Description

"Dirt Floor," by the late Chris Whitley (1960 - 2005), in extra-heavy 45-rpm vinyl. An intimate album of voice and guitar from a Texan who combined rock, roots and blues with an experimental, sonic-art streak. Even his most multitracked, full-band albums had a solitary feel, so the one-man, one-mic sound of "Dirt Floor" made great sense for Whitley.

Condition: fair, bordering on good. Some faint hairlines and handling wear on LP. But solid and playable. Jacket, with large plastic sleeve, has some separation at the bottom but is overall very clean and crisp. LP sleeve is paper with plastic lining and has some separation at the edges but is also clean and intact.

Side 1: Scrapyard Lullaby, Indian Summer, Accordingly, Wild Country.

Side 2: Ball peen Hammer, From One Island to Another, Altitude, Dirt Floor, Loco Girl.
