Description
Auction is for an extremely rare 1/1 Chris Wollard and the Ship Thieves test lacquer for "Anybody Else" 7". The test lacquer is part of the record pressing process. The lacquer is what is used to make the plates that press the record. Occasionally, the Mastering engineer who is cutting the record will do a test cut and send it to the label to be approved before moving along in the process. Usually this is done to approve volume levels and EQ. This is the only one of these in existence. Test lacquers are not meant to be played more than a few times. The lacquer is soft and will degrade with repeated plays. This was played two or three times for testing purposes.
