Description

I have much more I will be offering the next few months including as always some top rarities in choice condition on such labels as Harvest, Marmalade, Neon, Vertigo, B&C/Charisma, Dandelion, Deram, Polydor, Pegasus, Philips, Blue Horizon, Transatlantic, Virgin/Caroline etc. Please be patient and keep watching as it takes time when available to go through various sections of my collection and in some areas I've barely scratched the surface of what I'll be offering. For some of the larger labels such as B&C/Charisma, Harvest, Transatlantic, Vertigo, Virgin/Caroline etc. I am waiting until I have assembled more of a quantity of titles to offer at one time rather than just listing a few here and there along with other stuff.

ATTENTION TO ALL EBAYERS--PLEASE TAKE NOTE: After much consideration and frustration on my part to not serve you better by getting more listings up regularly each week I will be implimenting a new policy as of September 9, 2012. Rest assured that this will in no way affect my overall standards of service, nor the quality of what I offer. Basically I will be dropping some of the details below in what has been my routinely elaborate individual item descriptions, IF the items are not deemed by me to be bigger ticket potential ie. $100.00 + LPs. With up to 12 pictures much of this information should be self evident anyway by carefully viewing all of them. For top rarities I offer that should sell for multiple hundreds or even $1,000.00 + (even in the currently weak worldwide economy), I will continue to provide the same more elaborate descriptions that I always have, both supplemented and verified with up to 12 photos each that are always of the exact items I'm offering for sale as anyone who has purchased from me before has experienced. If you have any specific questions about any item that's not self evident, then feel free to contact me and I will respond ASAP. Please do not wait until the last day when the auction is ending though, unless by chance you have just noticed the listing. I rarely monitor the bidding when my auctions are ending as I'm usually working at getting more new listings up for your benefit. Needless to say my feedback speaks for itself! For those of you who have left it (which is the vast majority of you), I appreciate your continued support of myself as primarily a seller, as well as the overall Ebay community at large to continue making it a better and more reliable experience for everyone. For the few that continue to not leave feedback despite multiple purchases from me in the past I will no longer be leaving feedback in advance for you as I've continued to do for everyone before including all brand new customers. Naturally if anyone's dis-satisfied for some reason I want to know about it so I can potentially make it right if at all possible.

Welcome Back Rare Vinyl Fans & Fiends Alike. So sorry for the rather long un-intended hiatus from selling since last spring but other demands on my time were required.

HERE you will often FIND offered BETTER CONDITION RECORDS than many other

(visually graded only) sources offer, WHICH ARE FREQUENTLY TOP COPIES & VIRTUALLY new or LIKE-NEW

and unplayed or played very few times, AND/OR THE BEST COPIES POSSIBLE of many choice records.

Purchased: NEW. Virtually Perfect all around Stone Mint copy of this now very rare 2nd LP recorded in Toronto in October 1970 by these Canadian hard rock psych-heads who were all teenagers here with two of them a mere 16 years old!! Their 19 year old leader/vocalist/guitarist Bob Bryden had formerly led the very fine Reign Ghost prior to this. They turned more progressive a few years later on their fantastic followup Spirit Of Christmas-Lies To Live By from 1974.       PLEASE NOTE: The last 3 photos are from a Toronto magazine with Part 2 of an overview of Bob Bryden's career "A Record Story"including an interview. I'm offering that as a bonus with my former listing of their rare limited edition Live LP which had reached it's 12 picture quota. This mag is not to be included with this LP but that one! I will however offer a xerox of it to the winner of this one assuming they want it!

Label/# + Year of release/Date of pressing: As above.

Cover Condition: Near perfect M(-) gate-fold with only a little foxing to the spine from the somewhat weary-worn shrink and little else distinguishing it from when it came out of the factory! I will enclose it within the original plastic shrink wrap (with price sticker still attached!) which was loose and slipped over the entire gate-fold just like when I bought it in A&A Records on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto directly next to Sam The Record Man about 4 decades ago! In those bygone days both Sam The Record Man & A&As had huge selections of vinyl offerings in all categories of music from all over the world and I found and bought many great rarities back then. I could have bought a sealed Plastic Cloud also in A & A's as a cheap cutout which I held in my hand and contemplated one day which I'll always regret but still I can't complain considering what all I did end up with!

Inner Sleeve: Original toned white paper.  I've added a sheer plastic liner which will be included.

Record Condition: Looks M(-) with minimal hairlines/sleeve-wear and plays Stone Mint with superb fidelity and with virtually NO appreciable background noise of any kind throughout after cleaning on a VPI HW-17. No upgrade possibly desired or required here! Absolutely cannot be improved upon & I'll probably regret selling this because it's my only copy and I'll never be able to replace it. Played no more than 6-8 times in 4+ decades!

Label Condition: Both clean and unmarked.

Matrix #'s: SBA-16002-S1 & S2.

PAYMENT is expected within 1 week unless you're confirmed bidding on other items. Combined shipping is available for multiple purchases up to a 2 week duration counting from the day of the first winning bid and/or confirmed purchase (if Buy it Now) made by any buyer. All orders will be shipped within 1 week of payment with records removed from sleeves (unless SS) to prevent any cover seams from splitting.
Please understand that all orders will be expertly boxed with care and shipped promptly, but I cannot and will not be held responsible for anything lost or damaged in transit. Consequently insurance is strongly recommended for all US winners. Payment is Pay Pal only for all foreign buyers and insurance is unavailable as it is too expensive. Once again, I cannot and will not be held responsible for any item(s) lost or damaged in transit due to careless handling by the USPS or foreign postal services. Any/All buyers outside of the U.S. hereby agree to accept full responsibility for any loss or damage to/for any item sent, and furthermore accept that the seller, myself, will not be held liable or responsible for any refund or further recourse for recovery of the lost or damaged item(s). THANKYOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING & INTEREST AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!

INVOICES: It is not my policy to send out invoices unless or until requested. This is because I don't want to rush people to pay in case they're wanting to potentially win another item or items and take full advantage of my combined shipping offer. I can't predict what else someone might want to bid on and I don't necessarily know from one week to the next what I'm going to list for sale from my collection. However if you don't want to wait then feel free to pay for your item(s) won at any time. All information is in my listings for the proper shipping costs depending upon where you are located. If you're not sure then please e-mail me for confirmation and I will gladly send you an invoice. Please do not abuse my grace period for paying within 2 weeks or just let me know if you're having a problem so we can work it out. I'm friendly and understanding and THANK-YOU FOR BEING CONSIDERATE!  However, I reserve the right to either re-list any item or offer it to the runner up bidder if you don't pay for it within the allotted time period and play by the rules. If that happens then I will not allow you to bid in future auctions of mine.

SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:   Please note that as of today 26th February 2012, I've lowered the price of additional single LPs for media mail for U.S. customers to $1.50 instead of $2.00 for up to 6 albums total, per my attempts to keep it closer to actual costs of mailing. Remember that gate-folds weigh more so I've tried to establish a medium based on that.

1.Continental U.S.A.-1 LP is $8.25 for Priority + $1.00 each additional LP OR $4.00 for Media mail + additional single LPs are $1.50 each up to 6 total. More than 6 may require an adjustment.

2.Alaska, Hawaii & Canada are $8.00 for 1st LP  Airmail and $2.50 for each additional single album up to 5 total.

3.Mexico & South America are $14.00 for 1st LP Airmail and $3.50 for each additional up to 5 total.

4.Europe is $15.50 for 1st LP Airmail and $3.50 for each additional up to 5 total.

5.Japan, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Korea, Russia and United Kingdom are $15.50 for 1st LP Airmail and $4.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

6.Africa and Middle East are $16.00 for 1st LP Airmail and $5.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

ATTENTION FOR ALL FOREIGN BUYERS: For a few international buyers lately who have purchased 6 or more LPs for combined shipping the above rates I list have been inadequate to cover my shipping costs because more than 4 additional LPs can push the weight to over 4 pounds into a higher shipping cost category. So for now please ask for a shipping quote if you're buying more than 4-5 LPs. Rest assured that as always I will strive to offer all customers the best rates possible to save them money and be as close to the actual shipping costs for their item(s) as possible within reason. Please understand that LPS, their covers (gate-fold or non-gate-fold), boxes and packing materials utilized can vary somewhat in their respective weights so with all of my posted rates I try and set averages that are appropriate to generally cover my costs and be close to yours also. Thanks once again for your understanding in my efforts to serve you all to the best of my ability.

PLEASE NOTE:  Rest assured that I only charge to basically cover my costs and all of my shipping supplies and handling time to pack are factored in & included already with no additional charges added on to pad the actual sales prices. I strive to satisfy and attain your 100% satisfaction as well as retain my 100% feedback rating!

All records are GUARANTEED original 1st pressings or 1ST YEAR ORIGINALS to the best of my knowledge UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.All records are from my own personal collection where they have been archived and handled with loving care.

MY PRESERVATION POLICY on many records that I revered was simple and I share it with you now so that you understand why you take virtually no risk buying from me providing the album was bought new and not used originally. When I'd buy a "new" album and it was something I liked a lot and still available (most of my new albums were purchased in the early-mid 1970's!) I'd initially play it between 15-25 times to become familiar with it and then sell it to a friend as a still EX+ well preserved nice copy. (Adding outer & inner plastic sleeves was standard procedure additionally limiting cover wear and/or hairline paper sleeve marks.) Then I'd buy another new copy and in some cases if a particular favorite then yet another, meaning that I only played the 2nd copy (now my 1st) 5-10 times and the 3rd (now my 2nd if I kept 2) once or twice, always initially taping or now in more recent years currently burning to disc 1 copy within the first couple of  plays thus significantly limiting play to this day on most of my lps. I did/do this with many single copy rarities as well so most play was/is on tapes or cd-rs. I bought a lot of CDs of favorite things also which further helped preserve my vinyl and limit play of much of it. Sometimes I also acquired rare British and European vinyl which I never saw imported in stores and sold new in the United States or Canada from contacts I established through mail correspondence during the 1970's. I developed contacts in England, France, Germany, Holland & Norway. Be aware that the MAJORITY of albums or occasionally 45's that I list ARE FREQUENTLY my ONLY COPIES so bid accordingly as you'll not likely see most of them listed by me again.

SO, MOST OF MY ALBUMS ORIGINALLY BOUGHT NEW, STILL ACCURATELY APPEAR VIRTUALLY NEW AND UNPLAYED, AND MOST WERE HONESTLY PLAYED NO MORE THAN 5-10 TIMES AND OFTEN ONLY TWICE OR THRICE AND ARE STILL NEAR MINT!! WHY TAKE THE RISK & HASSLE WITH RETURNS EVEN IF THEY"RE ACCEPTED. SHOP HERE AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT AND DISAPPOINTMENT FROM YOUR FUTURE E-BAY VINYL TRANSACTIONS NOW!
