Any Negative action will only be returned. _____________________________________________________ **** Chronic Sick "Cutest Band in Hardcore" LP - on Mutha Records - #002 **** & Chronic Sick 7" e.p. on Mutha **** Yup this is my last LP & 7", from my High School chums, my own personal copy, as I just sold my entire record collection to my drummer for $10,000. its a sad day, but at least I still have access. I wouldn't let him have this one for personal, then financial reasons. I did burn a nice copy of both on to CD with album art, which I'll be selling copies at some point. For years I would give away x-tra copies to anyone who seemed interested, until, to my surprise, I realised the demand and value for this LP. By that time I only had two left. I sold a scratchy copy for $200. knowing they were going for $500 +. That was a few years ago. and I haven't noticed one popping up since. I hate to see it go, but I can still look at they're ugly mugs in person. I still see Gregg and Bobby K. pretty often around here in R.B. and at the Brighton Bar in L.B. (which Greg is half owner and agitator - and yes Jacko still books bands and grumbles as he works the door - though I can't complain as he gives us pretty much the shows we want). I would make the effort to get this signed but that just seems a bit too goofy for me, and I don't want to de-value at all for the serious record collector type. **** a year or two ago Bobby K was riding around town with a box of the 7"s winging them at anyone he knew, or didn't know **** the LP and 7" are in great shape, I didn't really notice any crackle at all, the CD I made of this sounds great. The front pasted cover panel isn't attached to cover, as its been for over 20 years (I couldn't get myself to glue this back on - it wouldn't be right). but cover is still in great shape on both records. I can't remember how many they made. but I know it was probably under 500. album includes its original 2 sided - photo copied lyric sheet. Thankfully Mark "Mutha" had the sense to start a label & record these bands back then, if it wasn't for him most of these bands would never have recorded any kind of record at all. **** Soon I'll also have CD copies of The Worst (my FAv), Child Abuse, Fatal Rage etc.... And quite possibly sell them too. (cover for my P.D. lp got stolen years ago). **** Not that it means much but I'll also include a CD of a few songs from my band (PINK FROG) recorded live at C.B.G.B.'s over a year ago (not a great show but thats all I have recorded). **** I've been thinking lately that it would be nice to here an updated Chronic Sick Reformation, as Gregs last band "the X-Men" never really held up to old standards. once I have a steady bass player, or Adam changes his mind, I'm going to start trying to set up bigger shows involving those few bands I like and know. **** after all these are hard times for original sincere underground bands to survive, in this world of Generic retoric, and far removed fashionable wanna bee's amongst these times of the non-individual youth pretending to be different then the majority, only in a few years, more often then not, will join the majority anyway.
