Description
Original Silver print, Round center, 2nd pressing of Chuck Berrys 1st UK release, in 1956, on the `London` label. No. 45-HL-U 8275.
Down bound train / No money down......... (please read on........)
Unfortunately!!!!, this copy has a crack through it (see scans), and, although the cracked area still sits flush, and the record still `almost` plays through, with a faint `pip` sound, aswell as some surface noise, (it sticks near the very end of `Down bound train`!), also has lots of light surface marks generally........ and for all those reasons, it is being offered here as a `GAP FILLER` copy only. The labels are still clean & clear, with a couple of marks, & minimal wear, the round center is still intact. I know I don't need to mention to you collectors out there, that this record does not crop up often, so a gap filler copy could be very nice for quite a long time, before a better replacement shows up. Comes with a REPRO London company sleeve.
