By 1972, Chuck Berry was back at his old stomping grounds, Chess Records, and had enjoyed the biggest hit of his career with "My Ding-a-ling," off of the live set from The London Chuck Berry Sessions (Chess). Mercury Records, where he'd spent three commercially unfruitful years, decided to take advantage of this sudden resurgence of popularity on his part by assembling this double-LP compilation, containing most of the highlights of his five album stint on Mercury. For those who haven't heard any of the latter, this is not a bad collection in fact, it's an almost perfect companion to the Chuck Berry's Golden Decade double-LP set issued by Chess in 1967. The first disc is the Live at the Fillmore Auditorium album, cut with the Steve Miller Band, which was always the highlight of Berry's Mercury library, and is beyond reproach here. The second disc is drawn from his studio albums of the period.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
