Description

Chuck Berry - One Dozen Berries - Chess 8689. Berry’s second studio album. Original late 50s pressing with deep groove black label and laminated front cover. Heavy stock cover is in solid condition with clean back. Has some wear to upper and lower corners at spine. Disc has many marks, none that can be felt. Playing surface still has gloss. Record plays through fine with no skips. Chess records are notorious for being lousy pressings. Some of the surface noise that’s heard was undoubtably present when first pressed, such as a whoosh that’s heard at each revolution on Sweet Little Sixteen. Overall, though, I enjoyed spinning this 63-year-old disc.

Some wear at label holes and spindle trails present.

VG+/VG-

Graded Cover/ Record.
