Description
Ultra rare record from the 90s. This is the original pressing limited to about 1000 copies only ever distributed locally around Leeds. This the original version of the "Ssshhh..." album which had tracks removed and replaced and was completely re-recorded for its official album release. JHC was banned from release due to various claims from original creators of the material plagiarised on it. Shhh... the album that remained was basically a big complaint about this.
JHC is by far the superior original album as intended by the band.
As I say this is pretty hard to find now. I got my copy in Nail record on the corn exchange in Leeds back in the day (remember that place?). I lent it to someone and it never returned and it took me several years to find this copy which eventually turned up in Vinyl Tap (when that was still in Leeds city centre).
Needless to say I am not amazingly enthusiastic to let go of this copy but hey ho.
This is an essential piece of the collection for any Chumbawamba fan or collector of rare indie from the early 90s.
Apologies as this was listed yesterday but ebay removed all my listings because I'd dared to put contact details in one of the photos which has meant relisting all my items - very frustrating for buyer and seller a like. What a joke.
