Description
This is a rare vinyl test pressing of the Dais Records reissue of Cindytalk's 1984 debut album Camouflage Heart
"Though there are some passages of prettiness – Heart is black to its very core, defined by its choppy, overdriven guitar parts, strangulated vocals and dark ambient drones that would have Lustmord reaching for his teddy bear. Disintegration is a recurring theme in the lyrics, and the music – a fraught meeting of the eldritch and the industrial – enacts it, seeming to crumble before one’s very ears." – FACT Magazine, "20 Best Goth Records Ever Made"
"Howling, cathartic vocals were nothing new by 1984, but Cinder's exorcistic bellows are unique -- practically weaponized, more damaged than anyone else's. She shakes demons with equal lack of abandon into despair" – AllMusic
