This is an E+ Condition but extremely close to M- (see my  record see grading below) , and really wonderful example of  1927 jazz  featuring a very rare and extremely professional appearance by 18 year old Katherine Henderson (The niece of Clarence Williams and his wife Eva Taylor) singing "Baltimore" (per the Red Hot Jazz site), backed by Clarence Williams and his Blue Five Orchestra on Brunswick 3664-B. Adding to the fun on this record is the A side which features, The Five Harmaniacs (Jug Band) playing Carolina Bound, I can recognize a Jug, Washboard, Piano and Kazoo on the A side. .  According to the Red Hot Jazz site, the Katherine Henderson Clarence Williams side, was recorded 4/27/27  The Five Harmaniacs side was recorded 11/27/26. Around the same time of the Katherine Henderson/Williams recording Session for Brunswick, she was co-staring with her Aunt Eva Taylor, in Clarence Williams only attempt at a Broadway Musical "Bottomland" on Broadway in New York City. It ran for 21 performances before closing. 

This record rates an  E+ almost M - I rate conservatively.

My grading system is simple 

M - I was transported back in time to a record store and purchased new stock and returned to 2016.  

M-  It looks like new old stock but I can't prove it. 

E+ It looks and plays really fantastic, visual grading under light detected minimal hard to see scuffs and maybe some tiny surface scratches

E  It has been obviously been handled and played a number of times, typical minor scuffs and some surface scratches as you would find on most records of this vintage, but still plays really great 

E- , quite a few signs of scuffing and other surface blemishes and scratches but still enjoyable .

G+  A serious collector would turn his nose up at it, but a beginner would jump in, sound quality far from great, starting to fade much more gray and little gloss left, and almost ready for the Old record retirement home.  

G   Been through a war and looks like it was played 100's of times with worn steel needle,  A wall hanger or target practice item, or for those who just wanted to say they have one.
