Clark Terry 1st Press US LP Happy horns of VG+ '64 Impulse! RVG A64 Jazz Bop

Original 1st Press US LP released in 1964 on Impulse! Records. Cat: A-64. This album is in MONO. Has Van Gelder stamp in runout groove. Comes in heavyweight gloss gatefold sleeve.
This all-star LP has plenty of memorable moments. Flugelhornist Clark Terry teams up with altoist Phil Woods (who doubles on clarinet), tenor great Ben Webster, pianist Roger Kellaway, bassist Milt Hinton, and drummer Walter Perkins for a varied program that includes a rollicking version of "Rockin' in Rhythm," Bix Beiderbecke's "In a Mist," a Duke Ellington medley, and "Return to Swahili," which is mostly a flügelhorn-drums duet.

  There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause some light crackles and is in VG++ condition. Heavy weight, gloss gatefold sleeve has light age marks on inside of gatefold and is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
