Description

The Clash 'The New Testament' 13 Track Test Pressing LP Record with proof sleeve. This is a Black Vinyl test pressing (plain white labels with no writing) for the Clash 'Cut the Crap' demos lp called 'The New Testament' (original title planned for the 'London Calling' album).  This LP includes nine tracks pulled from the 'Cut the Crap' demo tape plus four tracks that Mick Jones recorded with the bands Weeping Willows and Ebba Gron. Sound quality is studio demo quality and the proof sleeve is green with a great black and white photo of the post Mick Jones Clash lineup. The Mick Jones material was recorded in Sweden 02/20/03 in front of a live audience later to be released on a Euro only DVD.

The back of the sleeve has track listings + one photo. Please note with this being a proof sleeve it is in two pieces. The front of the sleeve is one piece and the back of the record sleeve is one piece (two pieces total).
