Classic Records MILES DAVIS Kind of Blue 2-LP Gatefold 1995 1st pressing
RARE Original Master Recording Audiophile Pressing -- Classic Records CS 8163
Classic Records first edition (1995) virgin vinyl original master recording LPs and original rice paper sleeves are in beautiful Near Mint condition (our highest grade for an opened item!). Gatefold jacket is between NM and EX, with very minor corner bumps (nothing bothersome -- see photos).  Plays without issue (with awesome sound... and great music!!!). Jacket has been stored in a protective plastic sleeve and the LP has been stored in original rice paper sleeves for maximum protection! All are included here. Stored in a smoke & pet-free, climate controlled home.

There are two 180 Gram LPs in this set. This was the first 33 RPM / 45 RPM pressing of this title, released in 1995. This album was remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original master tapes for the ultimate in audiophile sound. The first album is the complete original recording. Side A of the second album presents Side A at the correct speed for the first time. Side B contains the only outtake that exists from the sessions, "Flamenco Sketches", presented at 45 RPM. This long out of print set is a must have for any Miles Davis fan. There are no cutout marks, seam splits, or significant abrasion on the gatefold jacket. This album set has become a rare collectible item -- for good reason!
