Description
Back in 1994, Classic Records started an ambitious program to release some of the most coveted classical records from the golden age of recording, many important titles from the RCA Living Stereo catalog. To this day, original Living Stereo LPs are highly sought after for their performances and for their exceptional sound quality.
To kick off Classic's release program, they set up a contest where the winners would receive the option of buying numbered copies of Classic's releases, the numbers corresponding to the order in which each piece of vinyl was pressed -- #001 being the first from a pressing run. All pressings were made with high quality, heavy vinyl, and strict quality control.
I entered the contest and won #069. I subsequently chose to buy the first 4 box sets that Classic offered, with the boxes and each LP numbered #069. Given my perennial listening backlog, I ended up never playing them, and have decided to sell them. They are sealed, in strictly mint condition, include all inserts, and are packaged in their original packages just as Classic sent them to me.
In all, I am currently auctioning 4 boxes: The Deluxe 1S Edition, The Brit Box, The Export Box, and the The Royal Ballet Box. Please see all my auctions.

A note about our scans: items that are larger than 14" x 8 1/2" (like LP covers) are scanned in two strips and then "glued" together. You may see a line through the middle of the scan that is a remnant of the gluing, particularly at the edges of the image, and particularly when there are reflections. These artifacts are not part of the original, but only because of the scan. Please ask if you have any questions about the scans.
I ship via USPS Priority mail, or airmail out of the United States (please let me know if you require something else). Shipping weight will be about 9 pounds, and I'll calculate exact shipping costs to you from zipcode 02481. (As a guideline, cross-country shipping to Berkeley California would be about $17.50 (2 day delivery), or, if you want media mail and 7 day delivery, $4.54.) If your winning bid is above $50, I will pay for insurance.
I accept PayPal, money orders, cash (though I advise you don't do it that way), or personal checks. Personal checks must clear before I ship. If you must return the item, it must be in the same condition that I sent it, but I will refund your full purchase price and return shipping cost within the USA -- I guarantee your satisfaction.
Please see our grading standards (I'm very strict about it) and general policies.
Thanks for bidding!
