Offered at auction with no reserve, a super-rare set of test pressings of Classic Records re-issue of RCA LSC-2327, Jean Morel conducting the Royal Opera House Orchestra doing Bizet's L'Arlessienne Suites 1 &2 and Chabrier's Espana Rapsodie and Marche Joyeuse. Sound quality of these re-issues is legendary and they don't get any better than these test pressings. Each disc is pressed on only one side to realize the full potential of the 45 rpm recording technology. Dynamic range is incredible. This appears to be the full set, the discs are labeled LSC2327 A1, LSC2327 A2, LSC2327 B1 and LSC 2327 B2. Disc A1 and B2 have been played once or twice. I am grading these, and hence the set, as NM (near mint) because they have been played, though they look like new. Discs A2 and B1 are still sealed. These come in plainwhite jackets, and all of the jackets have their protective vinyl outer sleeves. I have owned this set since new, and always stored the LPs on edge. I will pack in a dedicated LP mailer and ship via priority mail.
