One of the most the most collectable titles from from the legendary RCA "Shaded Dog" line. RCA revolutionized stereo with these groundbreaking recordings and this is one of the best of the lot. This is a 180g 1S RTI Pressing.

Condition: New and still sealed in it's original plastic sleeve. Perforation is completely intact. Corners are sharp and unbent. Spine, top and bottom are solid and free of chipping or splits. Mint.

Review: Fritz Reiner conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for this recording of Debussy's Iberia alongside compositional works by Ravel. These recordings were made from original triple track stereo master tapes embodying RCA Victor's "New Orthophonic" High Fidelity recordings technique. Condenser microphones were placed at optimum positions in Orchestra Hall, Chicago, to insure uniform coverage of the orchestra. The music as originally recorded on triple track was then produced as a dual track stereo disc by combining the three original tracks under controlled conditions, to insure correct stereophonic balance, maximum spatial effect and ideal frequency range and dynamic contrast.
