Fantastic and hard-to-find Japanese import 1st release soundtrack double album compilation 'Encyclopedia Of Screen Music Vol. 3' (1974), featuring cover versions by the Universal Studio Orchestra. A fabulous collection of soundtrack themes from the James Bond films and Italian cinema.
Superb sound from this Japanese pressing. The front cover shows Claudia Cardinale.
It could be hard to find a better example.

Condition: VINYLS: VG+/VG+. Look superbly clean on visual inspection. No scuffs, marks or hairlines on either disc. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout – and excellent in many cues. Mild static/clicking/whirring at run-ins and light surface noise in places eg. first tracks of each record but a little more on Record 1. Some static between early cues/during fadeouts but instrumentals on this Japanese pressing sound great. Play with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A very enjoyable listen.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: EX. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb thick card gloss booklet sleeve. Just some very mild scuffing/buckling to corners. Obi present, attached and undamaged. Edges have lightest of scuffs but apertures and spine in great shape. All inner pages in fantastic condition. Could be hard to find a better example. A fabulous sleeve overall. Original outer clear polybag sleeve also included.
INNER SLEEVES: EX. Original. Clear square poly sleeves with white backing one side. Some crinkling, folds and creasing but no rips or stains.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
