Clear Blue Sky - Clear Blue Sky
(Vertigo 6360 013 UK LP 1970)
This is a UK original "Swirl" Vertigo LP pressing. It has a matt gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has "swirl" Vertigo labels. It has a large swirl logo on Side 2's label. The record has 1st press -1Y#-1/ -2Y#-2 matrix stampers.
Sadly this is quite a well played, or well loved, copy of this LP. However, this is a rare early 1970's UK Prog Rock LP.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild to moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge. There is mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the top edge & corner tips. There is some light overall fading to the "white" of the front sleeve. There is some light or mild foxing in some areas. There is a 2 cm seam split at the bottom sleeve opening, on the rear part of the gatefold only. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some more moderate to considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 7-8 marks. The majority are hairline marks but there are a couple of thicker marks too. The are, in the main, all light or very light marks. They measure from 1 cm to 7 cm in length. Good condition. The labels are in VG condition & show mild to moderate spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is a seam split down the majority of one side. There is some more moderate fading & a pen mark on one side.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG overall, & VG+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are some intermittent light, or very light, clicks on the 1st track on side 2. There are 3-4 mild clicks near the end on the 2nd track on Side 2. There are also a couple of mild clicks on the last track on Side 2. It does not jump.
