Description
Here’s a copy of Clear Spot. Original pressing, in its original clear plastic jacket. Word was that Beefheart wanted this to be pressed in clear vinyl, but that wasn’t robust enough to stand up to repeated playings, so this was the way it came out. Later on, it was re-released in a standard cardboard jacket.
This was the one Beefheart album produced by Ted Templeman, better known for his work with the Doobie Brothers, Van Halen, Van Morrison, Little Feat, Cheap Trick and Aerosmith. Sonically it is head and shoulders above any other album by the Captain.
Good condition, definitely has been played. I loved this record!
