Description

CLEVELAND CROCHET'S HILLBILLY RAMBLERS - Deedle-E-Deedle-D-Da (Keep Knockin') / Big Boy Waltz (Folk-Star 1191)

Incredibly raw version of "Keep A-Knockin'" -- as you would expect from the band that later did "Sugar Bee." I think this is their first record, and it dates from the early 1950s. Folk-Star was a Goldband affiliate. Great vocal from Leroy Broussard in French and English. Never reissued?

Condition: G+. A well-played record that I imagine spent some time in a South Louisiana jukebox.

Postage will be exact, and will be determined at auction close. Record will be placed between four pads of cardboard, bubblewrapped, and placed in the middle of an oversize box stuffed with paper or styrofoam to prevent damage. So far I have a 100% success rate with shipping 78 rpm records. NOTE: Postage is usually around $5-$10 for North American addresses and $12-$18 for overseas -- NOT the price eBay "automatically calculates" listed above. Insurance will be added to all orders.

Satisfaction always guaranteed.
