Semi-Nude Cover, Canadian Pressing. Very rare controversial cover!
One of the most popular — and infamous —album covers of the cheesecake era starring the legendary model/actress/dancer/nudist Diane Webber (aka Marguerite Empey), who famously also appeared on numerous album covers for Les Baxter, Nelson Riddle, George Shearing and Xavier Cugat. She was also one of few early models to have been TWICE a Playboy Playmate of the Month (May ‘55 and Feb ‘56) with photos by none other than Russ Meyer. She is wearing the daring backless dress later popularized by actress Vikki ‘The Back’ Dougan. Her friend in the cover shot is believed to be Marilyn Dean, another popular pin-up model from the era. The photograph itself was taken by noted Hollywood photographer Tom Kelley, Sr. who also photographed the famous Marilyn Monroe nude that graced the pages of the very first issue of Playboy.

Unlike the US release, the standard Canadian release has a blank white rear cover with no album notes nor a track listing.

Record has been cleaned with an Ultrasonic Record Cleaner using an actively-filtered Library of Congress-approved cleaning solution to remove all traces of dirt and dust and to ensure the best possible sound from vintage records.
Disc: VG+ No scratches, light scuffs (will not affect play).
Cover: VG light storage shelf wear, corners & edges, top opening seam split 5-1/2", original 1950’s store price is written in ink on back cover (very tiny). No stickers.
Inner sleeve: brand new premium Mobile Fidelity-style sleeve with a paper layer sandwiched between two sheets of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a translucent HDPE front.
