Blue Note BLP-1549
Cliff Jordan & John Gilmore "BLOWING IN FROM CHICAGO' 1957, Mono 1st Pressing with 47. W. 63rd St New York 23 address on both labels. This version has the "RVG" Etched in the deadwax. The "ear' shaped marking that represents plastylite in the deadwax and has "The Deep Groove on the labels". This is a very obscure vintage Jazz LP from the day. Please note that this copy is in Excellent VG++/VG++ condition, in my opinion it grade's nicer, but for the sake of argument we have graded it on the conservative side. Please see below for more detailed descriptions and conditions. Check-out the photo's and Enjoy.!
COVER CONDITION: VG++ Excellent Laminated cover, it is very solid and looks Superb. There is no writing, ring-wear, dirt or grime. The only discrepancies are a 1" seam split on the spine, some light corner wear, and a record store initials stamped in blue on the back of the cover. As the pictures indicate the cover looks Great..!
RECORD LABELS CONDITION: NM- The labels are in a Extra Nice NM- condition. GORGEOUS..!
RECORD VINYL CONDITION: VG++ The Vinyl is in Excellent VG++ almost better condition. A light surface scratch on side 1, a couple of inner sleeve scuffs and a bit of light heat residue From the Factory Stampers are the only imperfections. This is an a Superb Record.
ORIGINAL BLUE NOTE INNER SLEEVE: VG++ Very Nice Original Sleeve..!
This is a Superb copy of this Cliff Jordan 1957, Vintage LP.
