First press 'Stereo' on the light green and silver label of this iconic British album which paved the way for so many british groups....very rare to find in stereo......un-marked labels, un-worn spindle hole and no spider marks......lovely clean labels..... the vinyl I would grade as excellent +++ some would say mint minus.....really lovely looking pressing... the audible grade is higher at mint minus....no jumps, heavy pops, distortion or heavy crackling .....plays lovely just the odd bit of static between tracks which is to be expected from any vinyl record.....looking at the record in daylight it looks a solid mint minus .......lovely shiny bright surfaces......has been looked after...under a bright bulb you can see light wispy lines mainly from handling and removing from sleeve, nothing deep or sounding so in that case I would say a very strong excellent +++ .......the cover is excellent ...... one of the better covers to be found .....not abused in any way.....thick early sixties card sleeve with solid flipbacks ....it has a slight flaw on the front at the opening edge where a piece of laminate has gone and the print is faded slightly, you can see this in the picture.........the white rear of the sleeve is clean and shows light signs of browning, but not serious.....there are no marks or writing of any kind on the sleeve...the record is housed in the original Emitex inner sleeve which is perfect but does have light browning..........I can safely grade this very rare stereo LP as a very strong excellent + and only really has the one flaw on the front cover.....otherwise a very lovely example...I can safely say you would not be disappointed with this vinyl pressing........the vinyl has been play graded on a very high end system which does reveal all the flaws on vinyl....so it's had a good audible test all the way through....very rare to find this album in stereo as many people only bought mono in the early sixties..........and this stereo version has several alternate takes that are different to the mono version.......bid with confidence this record has been looked after and probably not played that many times.
