British 1st release of the film musical soundtrack to 'Summer Holiday' (1963, dir. Peter Yates; debut film), featuring music by Cliff Richard with The Shadows.
Performed by the Associated British Studios Orchestra, conducted by Stanley Black. Supported by the Norrie Paramor Strings and the Mike Sammes Singers.
This film, which is the second in a series of film musicals that also included 'The Young Ones' and 'Wonderful Life', starred Cliff Richard, Lauri Peters, Melvyn Hayes, Teddy Green, Jeremy Bulloch, Una Stubbs, Pamela Hart, Jacqueline Daryl, Lionel Murton, Madge Ryan, David Kossoff, Wendy Barry, Nicholas Phipps, Ron Moody and The Shadows.

Cliff Richard and The Shadows ?– Summer Holiday (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (1963)
Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: VG-EX. Looks very clean on visual inspection. No signs of any marks, scuffs or hairlines across either side. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is great throughout. Just some mild surface noise at very start of each side and the odd light click in places. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A wonderful listen.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): VG. Colours are clear and unfaded. Thick card with laminated front cover. Tiny dents in from spine but no obvious marks across front apart from light soiling in area on top edge. Corners mildly worn, some lightly buckled. Edges, spine clean and unscuffed. Aperture mildly dogeared. Back of sleeve flipbacks present and attached. Mild foxing towards bottom right corner. Long thin stain damage from top through text but otherwise great example. Inner Sleeve: EX. Original. Poly-lined black and white paper with squared corners. Film synopsis on one side, cast and poster on the other.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
