Description
Rare and interesting Jamaican pressing of Cliff’s 1965 collection of Italian-language songs. Rather than on his usual Columbia label, this copy is on Parlophone 335X 1762. A gold Parlophone sticker has been placed over the Columbia logo on the reverse. There would have been one on the front cover too – you can just about see the outline. The record was pressed under licence by Gloken Co Ltd of Jamaica. Matrix numbers are XAX 2888-1/XAX 2889-1.
Sleeve Fair to Good. Front laminated with flipbacks. Rather worn and discoloured but intact. There is some writing on the reverse.
Labels VG+ Very clean. Moderate spindle traces. Faint sticker mark on the Side 1 label. Faint name on the Side 2 label.
Inner Brand new polylined bag..
Record Visually VG+, nice shine to the vinyl. Light hairlines and scuffs, nothing serious or offensive. Plays very well with some light crackle here and there.
