Description
Very rare Clifford Brown and Max Roach Emarcy MG 26043 10 inch self titled record. Goldmine lists this record as being worth $600 in VG+ condition and this is very close to that. It is certainly VG and does not have any surface nose, scratches and just a few tiny hair like surface marks on side 2. This is certainly a investment quality ten inch rare and had to find record so please bid accordingly. The quinete is well know but for those who may now know them, they are Brown, Roach, Richie Powell (little brother of Bud Powell, who died in the tragic care crash along with Clifford Brown in the June 1956 accident), Harold Land and George Morrow. The cover does have an autograph written on the back, it is hard to see so I cannot say who it is. But all in all, this is a very strong VG and closer to a VG+ rating and certainly a record for any Clifford Brown, Max Roach or jazz fan looking to add an great piece to their collection.
