Long out of print, rare Yazoo lp c 1970's that I got in the mid 80's played only a few times,well stored since:Clifford Hays &The Dixieland Jug Blowers # L 1054. Clifford led many jugband groups through the 20's 30's, funky and rural but more uptown than Cannons Jug Stompers or the Memphis Jug band...more jazz influence incorporating horns like the New Orleans Jazz bands of the day that the JBands were imitating..Some firey tunes, lots of instrumental virtuosity, real blusy vocals in a group featuring guitar, banjo, fiddle, kazoo and sax. Yazoo always assembles an artists best sides and these are Hays best with great mono fidelity true to the original 78's. Nice thick vinyl,near mint,intact inner sleeve, jacket gently worn around seams ,no ring wear, a seam split,top inner edge corner well repaired. Great rare lp for collectors ,musicians or dancers. International buyers welcome pay duties in own country.
