Original mono pressing with blue and white label, 47 West 63rd St addres on center label and bottom of back cover, deep groove, RVG and "ear" in dead wax. No registry mark. Record has several very light surface scuffs that do not sound. There are a few light clicks but the record plays overall near mint. Front cover is superb with only very light shelf wear. Back cover has extensive notes around the tune listing, some of the liner notes are underlined and small notes made in a couple of places and 3 name stamps. This copy came from the collection of the legendary Ed Beach who had the longest running jazz radio show back in the 80's. Cleaned on a Keith Monks Record Cleaning Machine and stored in an audiophile sleeve. Great band with Art Farmer, Clifford (as Cliff Jordan), Sonny Clark, George Tucker and Louis Hayes.

We do not play grade MOST of our records so we guarantee our visual grading with a money back guarantee that includes shipping. If we do play a record, we will let you know of any noise in our description. Generally, we do not list records below EX- condition unless it is exceptionally rare. We do not recommend audiophiles bid on records in less than NM- condition. Our grading standard is as follows.

Mint is only used for sealed records or records that we are certain have never been played.

Near Mint or NM is for the most part as good as it gets! No marks and will play clean with no noise unless inherent in the pressing.

EX+ Will generally have one or two minor flaws, but will overall be near mint.

EX or Excellent will have light surface marks and some background noise.

EX- Overall an Excellent copy with light surface marks, but with something that distracts, like a small scratch that makes a few pops.

VG+ Consistent background noise, pops but should not skip or stick. Still a playable copy.

VG has many problems. Noise will dominate. May have quite a few pops and possibly a skip.

VG- Will likely have a skip or two and will be very noisy.

G = Our lowest grade and is actually a poor record. We will probably never list a record in this grade.
