You are bidding on a out of print, original promo pressing copy of the Clifford Jordan Quartet - Glass Bead Games double LP released by Strata-East Records in 1974. This is SES 19737/8. The fifth release from the Dolphy series of releases on Strata-East. Promotional copy - both records have "promotion copy" printed on the record labels. Both records are visually in VG condition with a few light surface scuffs but both play like VG+ condition records and sound nice! The record labels are in VG+ condition. The gatefold jacket is only in G+ condition with shelfwear, edgewear, and ringwear. The bottom seams of the jacket have been split almost the length of the jacket and there is brown masking tape over these splits. There is significant wear to the spine as well as a piece of yellow tape and a piece of blue tape near the lower part of the spine. This appears to be an ex-libris copy, as there is an old stamp from the University of Texas Communication Center on the back of the jacket. Despite all of these multiple issues and relatively poor shape of the jacket, this would make a nice play copy for someone just wanting to have good sounding records to spin. PLEASE do not ask us for a buy it now price, no reserve so bid away!

We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:
Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!
Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.
Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.
Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches. generally still a great playing copy. jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.
Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.
Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches. jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
