Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Clifford Jordan and John Gilmore “Blowing in from Chicago” on the New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1549.  The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; perhaps played once.  The laminated West 63rd cover is bright and clean throughout; the back slick has a checkmark in each of the top corners and small areas of stains/discolorations at the bottom; ½” bump at the top left corner; ½” ding at the bottom corners; ¼” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include Horace Silver, Curly Russell, and Art Blakey.  $1,000.00.
