Description
This is an RVG-etched deep-groove “P”-pressing of Clifford Jordan/John Gilmore “Blowing in from Chicago” on Blue Note BLP 1549; Side 1 has the New York 23 label, while Side 2 has the West 63rd label. The playing surface is nearly flawless, with just a single light inaudible scuff on each side. The laminated West 63rd St. cover shows 1 ½” of lamination cracking on the top seam and ¼” wear at the spine; the spine shows 3” wear/lamination flaking at the top and ¼” wear at the bottom; the bottom seam shows ¼” wear at the spine and a ½” split at the opening; there is lamination flaking along the opening on the front and ½” wear at the bottom right corner.
