Description
Collectors, here is a rare one, Climax/Columbia Black Seal 7 inch announced one sided #171, circa late 1901/early 1902. Please note (pun intended) that the record has a grommet at the spindle hole. The popular Edward Favor sings the song "Uncle Harry, what is Love", with piano. Cute song with clever lyrics, a nice listen. The record sounds surprisingly well, some surface noise, the piano sounds like a "toy" but the singing comes through loud and clear. Ancient record from the start of Columbia's involvement with disc records, incredibly wear, a piece of history, probably worth a lot more than my asking price, don't pass it up!
Shipping to USA addresses only. $5.00 ground advantage postage and handling fee, record will be carefully packed and shipped in a new box. Please pay within 24 hours of purchase and I will leave you positive feedback when I ship the record, your positive feedback appreciated!! See my store for other early 78s and thanks for looking!!
