Description

This listing is for the 1959 Clyde McPhatter LP - "Clyde" on Atlantic black label 8031. The cover is listed at VG with moderate seam wear. No seam splits. Clean and glossy front cover. Rear cover has light wear. The labels have some spindle marks. See pictures. This deep groove LP is visually listed at VG with minimal hairlines and a few minor pressing "bumps", typical of this era pressing. I agonized about the visual grade being VG+ but in the end I defaulted to VG as it was a close call. I play graded this LP several years back and gave it a VG+ play grade. A Mobile Fidelity audiophile sleeve is included. I am a conservative grader. You will not be disappointed. See my 100% feedback. I my opinion this LP is in much better shape than some of the copies that I have seen listed on eBay between $100-$200. Goldmine's record guide lists this at $500 NM. These old Atlantic R&B/Doo Wop LP's are getting harder to find in this condition. A solid copy of this R&B classic. Sorry but NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDING/SHIPPING. Lower 48 states only.
