COMPLETE SET OF: TIME LIFE GREAT MEN OF MUSIC SERIES

18 BRAND NEW SEALED NEVER OPENED SETS OF 4

and

(12) OPENED LIGHTLY PLAYED BOX SETS OF 4 for a total of 120 LPs. This set was issued in the mid 70s The complete set includes 30 Box sets ALL of which are included. These were never stored in a basement and most look like they were just shipped from the factory. Below there is an inventory of which sets are sealed and which have been opened. I dont know what kind of turntable that the 12 opened albums were played on, but some of the opened box sets have 1 or more records which appear to never have been played.

Time Life did not list the tracks on the box cover and so it is not sensible for me to break open the seals to list the individual tracks. However, there is a wonderful sight that I discovered which will give you a listing of the tracks for most of these albums it is:

On a few of the sealed Box sets the plastic wrap is slightly ripped but there is no question that they have never been opened. If this set does not sell as a set in 2 weeks I will break it up and sell individual box sets but it will be much cheaper to buy it now as a set. Shipping will be about 85 lbs. Media mail in multiple boxes is preferred method but disregard eBay's shipping calcultor which cant give you a rate for a lot sent to you in more than one carton.

PLEASE READ SHIPPING COSTS: This is an extremely heavy lot. Each box set is over 2 1/2lbs and there are 30 box sets. I encourage local pickup if possible. If all could be shipped in one box the weight is already at 85lbs. Media Mail which is the cheapest way to ship will only take a single box of 70 lbs. or less. I have therefore added a $10.00 handling charge to reflect the fact that shipping will be in two separate boxes (after millions of transactions, eBay still hasn't figured out how to do shipping for 2 boxes on one order), and so we must improvise. Buyer agrees to send additional shipping if required and I agree to refund any excess shipping and handling charges paid by buyer.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES: I WILL SHIP BY INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY MAIL. I have seen individual Box sets of this series recently sell on eBay for as much as $29.95@. Using that as a guide and valuing the open/used items at $0.00@, 18 sealed items x29.95 would be $539.10 and so my starting bid is a little more than 1/5 of that!!
