Purchased directly from Stephen Thrower of Coil
Records do not have a blemish on them!  They have been stored in MFSL inner sleeves (included) since I received them
They also don't have speck of dust on them, from vacuum cleaning with a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine.  They are perfect and ready for play

This release is limited to 2000 numbered hand-stamped copies
Pressed on various colored vinyl including white marble, blue and clear versions, this is the white marble vinyl pressing
Comes in gatefold sleeve
B3 ends in a locked groove
Also includes 6mm protective plastic outer sleeve (last picture)

A Thousand Lights In A Darkened Room is the only release by the group Black Light District. Although this is not an official Coil release, "Black Light District" was merely an alias for the group. The alias is one of a few assumed by them in the mid-nineties for putting out drone based music.
"Unprepared Piano" is a reference to the prepared piano technique created by John Cage, who Coil are said to be fond of. "Blue Rats" was later remixed and released on the compilation Foxtrot, credited to Coil. An alternate version of "London's Lost Rivers" appears on Unnatural History III as "Lost Rivers Of London".

Mint:

New, Sealed, Never Opened, Never Played, Undamaged

NM = Near Mint:

Record looks and sounds new. No scratches, surface noise, ticks or pops. If there would be any surface noise, it would be very soft. If there would be a tick or pop, it would only be one or two soft ones.

NM- = Near Mint Minus:

Record looks and sounds very acceptable. This is a record that can be enjoyed. It may have some slight visible marks and may have surface noise and a few ticks and pops, but this will still be minimal.

 VG = Very Good:

Record looks and sounds used. This record has lots of surface noise and has visible scratches. For listening or collecting it is only good as "filler".

 + = Plus: (such as VG+)

Indicates the degree of closeness to the next higher grade.
