Cold Chisel ORIG OZ LP Circus animals NM ’82 WEA 600113 Jimmy Barnes
Original OZ LP released in 1982 on WEA Records. Cat: 600113. Comes with printed lyric inner bag which is in Excelent condition.
Cold Chisel opened the '80s with their most widely accepted and artfully constructed album, East. Following it up was a tall order for the Aussie quintet, but they did the trick admirably with Circus Animals. (A live album, Swingshift, was released in the period between the two studio discs.) A ten-song stew of the band's signature guitar-and-piano-driven ballads and rockers, it further confirmed Chisel's depth and breadth as a creative unit.
Tracks : You got nothing I want/ Bow river/ Forever now/ Taipan/ Houndog/ Wild colonial boy/ No good for you/ Numbers fall/ When the war is over/ Letter to Alan. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover has some ring wear, a small surface tear and sticker stain on top right corner and a few other light surface tears and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
