COLD CHISEL LP
'THE BARKING SPIDERS LIVE 1983'
AUTOGRAPHED BY ALL BAND MEMBERS!!!
I got this LP (plus 2 others) signed at the Ritz Wine Bar at Rockman's Regency Hotel at approximately 3:00am on December 2nd 1998 after their final Melbourne show of the 'Last Wave Of Summer Tour', at the Melbourne Sports & Entertainment Centre, the previous night.
We were all incredibly pissed while listening to a mixture of Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin playing in the background.
I still amaze myself as to how much I drank that night/morning...and never paid for one drink, thanks to a wallet-saving tip given to me by James Reyne from Australian Crawl.
The cover has some slight wear on the edges. The disc is in near-mint condition, and the poster is in brilliant condition having been kept in the record sleeve since I bought the LP.
ABOUT THE SELLER...
I was a security guard at most large rock concerts between the late 1970's and the mid 1990's.
Between the late 1960's to the late 1990's I was involved in the entertainment industry as a vocalist, comic and actor, as well as co-hosting a show on 3-RRR FM.
During the 1980's and early 1990's I was a senior umpire in the (now defunct) VFA, as well as a supervisor at the MCG, VFL Park & Victoria Park.
This allowed me to forge many friendships and contacts within the entertainment & sports industries, and many opportunities to collect autographs of numerous well-known celebrities including Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, ABBA and Michael Jackson.
I am slowly weeding out my collection and will be listing some great autographed items (& other stuff!) over the next few months.
