Description
From my own collection that I'm down-sizing . . .
I bought this immediately on release in the UK in 2002 and it's been with me ever since.
The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, just minor dints at the corners and a touch of rubbing from storage.
The original hype sticker is still attached top left. This is the first pressing, so the sticker says . . . COLDPLAY A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD Includes 'In My Place' 5405041
The inner sleeve is again excellent, just very minor signs of handling.
The vinyl was played a little bit at the time but hasn't been touched for years. Visually if you look closely you can see light rubbing swirls where it has been taken in/out of the card inner sleeve, although I vaguely remember noticing it when I got the album so they may have been there from manufacturing. Apart from that there are no actual scratches etc.
The matrix numbers are: 7243-5-40504-IA RI RJ STERLING 5405041 2A1
7243-5-40504-IA̶ B RI RJ STERLING 5405041 2B1
I've just checked sections of the vinyl now using a Pro-ject deck and it plays well all the way through with just a bit of background vinyl crackle that's most noticeable on the lead-ins on both sides and on the first few seconds of the final track Amsterdam.
Will be packaged well and sent out quickly
